Earlier in his career, against the University of Minnesota, Pritchett was ejected for a rare helmet-to-helmet targeting penalty on a defenseless player. Prior to transferring from the University of Alabama to Nebraska, Pritchett was arrested in late 2023 on a misdemeanor charge of knowingly transmitting a sexually transmitted disease.
McCoy played through a torn right labrum during the season, proving to be one of the toughest players on the roster. Thanks to his efforts, the Miami offensive line was named to the Joe Moore Award Midseason Honor Roll, which recognizes the best blocking units in college football.
