32 On the Clock Mocks: Atlanta Falcons

It is NFL Draft crunch time! Which means we are going to do a mock draft for all 32 teams using On the Clock of course! We will be using On the Clock Premium or Ultimate GM in these simulations, which you can upgrade to an annual subscription here!

These simulations will help give fans an idea of how the draft can play out for their team and give different scenarios to debate. So, enjoy and happy NFL Draft week!

On the Clock Premium simulation summary

The Falcons could very well look to trade back here, but if they stay with the selection they will get the best non-QB in this class on their board. From a pure needs perspective, Kyle Pitts makes the most sense. While there isn’t a great track record for drafting TE’s early, Pitts is a special talent and gives Matt Ryan a major weapon.

With a 2nd and three 3rd round picks the Falcons can land 4 other key contributors and starters with this class and this simulation does just that. Newsome is very much a 1st round talent who slides here to the top of the 2nd. Javonte Williams could very well end up as the Falcons lead back this season. Weaver is a solid pass rusher, who helps fill a big hole for the Falcons. Though Matt Ryan is still the starter for the Falcons, there has been some rumors that the team could be looking to the future. Davis Mills gives Atlanta a guy with some developmental upside and they don’t have to use their 1st rd pick on.
