Updated 2013 NFL Mock Draft Round 1 | Round 1 Picks 17-32 | Round 2 | Round 3 | Round 4 |

Picks: 1-1617-32 Also Check Out Fanspeak’s NFL Draft Blog and Steveo’s Mock

17 Chicago Manti Te’o ILB Notre Dame 6′ 2″ 245

-While it seems unlikely there are some rumors that Brian Urlacher could test the market next year. Even if he is back, Te’o should be able to play outside, until Urlacher is done playing in 2-3 years.

18 NY Jets T.J. McDonald S USC 6′ 2″ 205

-The Jets brought in a couple stopgap safeties this past year, but should look to add a long term solution next offseason. McDonald has the potential to be a top 20 draft pick next year.

19 Buffalo Marquess Wilson* WR Washington State 6′ 3″ 173

-Wilson has elite upside, but gets lost in the mix some due to playing at Washington State, he’d be an excellent additional weapon for the Bills.

20 New Orleans Xavier Rhodes* CB Florida State 6′ 1″ 209

-The Saints could go a couple of different ways, but Rhodes might be too good here to pass up.

21 CincinnatiJustin Hunter* WR Tennessee 6′ 4″ 200

-The Bengals don’t have many pressing needs, which allows them to take the best player available. Adding yet another weapon for Dalton isn’t a bad thing and could be the pick here.

22 Denver Johnathan Hankins* DT Ohio State 6′ 3″ 335

-The Broncos tackle situation looks to be their weakpoint going into next year. Hankins would give them a true run stuffer, which is key when you are in a division with the running games of the Chiefs, Chargers, and Raiders.

23 Detroit Sean Porter OLB Texas A&M 6′ 2″ 230

-The Lions really don’t have much at OLB, and its been exploited by opposing offenses. Porter projects to be good in coverage and looks to be a 3 down LB.

24 Philadelphia Eric Reid* S LSU 6′ 2″ 208

-Though the Eagles always seem to draft safeties, they have yet to really fill the position. Spending a first round pick on a guy like Reid could solve that issue. He’s got the chance to be an impact safety and would fit well into a defense that generates a lot of pressure.

25 Baltimore Robert Lester S Alabama 6′ 2″ 207

-Ed Reed seems to threaten to retire every season, and sooner or later that threat won’t be an idle one. Until that time a Lester/Reed pairing would cover a lot of ground out there.

26 Houston Kevin Reddick ILB UNC 6′ 3″ 230

-While the Texans probably made the right move in trading Ryans, there is a fair chance they could use an upgrade here next year.

27 Atlanta William Gholston* DE Michigan State 6′ 7″ 280

-John Abraham figures to call it quits some time in the next couple of years, and he already only plays roughly 60% of the team’s snaps, meaning there is plenty of opportunities for the Falcons third DE.

28 San Francisco Jackson Jeffcoat* DE Texas 6′ 5″ 250

-The 49ers don’t really have any major needs, so I’d expect them to take the best player available.

29 Green Bay Broderick Brown CB Oklahoma State 5′ 8″ 185

-Cornerback figures to be one of the Packers bigger holes next season.

30 Pittsburgh Bacarri Rambo S Georgia 6′ 1″ 208

-Ryan Clark has begun to slow down a bit and Troy Polumalu unfortunately figures to miss a couple games a year due to injury. Adding a top level safety would be a smart play for the Steelers.

31 New England Marcus Lattimore* RB South Carolina 6′ 0″ 218

-The Patriots could be in the market for a running back if Shane Vereen and Stephen Ridley struggle this season. While it doesn’t seem like it, the Patriots could really use a ground attack to help balance out Tom Brady.

32 NY Giants Ray-Ray Armstrong CB Miami 6′ 4″ 220

-The Giants usually take the best player available who fits a need, and that very well could be Armstrong.
