Offensive Line Combine Preview:
FANSPEAK.COM NFL DRAFT COVERAGE, FANSPEAK.COM NFL COMBINE COVERAGE
My predictions for Offensive Lineman who may rise or fall at the NFL Combine today.
Guys Who Will Impress:
Riley Reiff:
I know some people are disappointed in Reiff’s bench press and arm length results (despite not being out of the norm), but he should test well today. Reiff is more athletic then most people give him credit for so he should run well and look good in the offensive lineman drills. He also has a good punch, so he should look good in that drill as well.
David DeCastro:
DeCastro is built to do well in this combine. He’s a good combo of speed and power, and he is such a technician that he should get high marks across the board. With a strong Combine he could work his way into the top 10 of the draft.
James Brown:
Brown is a bit of a tweener for some people, but he’s probably one of the better tackle prospects that no one is talking about. I expect him to show good quickness and solid footwork today.
Guys Who Could Struggle:
Cordy Glenn:
Glenn was highly impressive in the bench press and came in with a really good arm length, but he might struggle today. He’s not expected to run well and could struggle in some of the movement drills.
Zebrie Sanders:
Sanders should have some nice speed, but his footwork was suspect at the Senior Bowl. If he doesn’t clean up his footwork he could really fall.
Ben Jones:
Jones comes in as one of the highest rated centers, but he got pushed around some at the Senior Bowl. He didn’t look too quick, and doesn’t show much definition. He needs to exceed expectations today to make himself some money.
