A decade after the first achievement of MU, Barcelona was the first Spanish FC to get a treble. They defeated the mighty Manchester United in the final match of the Champions League with 2-0, beaten Real Madrid with 6-2 to be the top 1 of La Liga apart from winning the well-known Copa Del Rey.
Guided by Pep Guardiola, Barcelona’s eye-catching and skillful tiki-taka play style also helped them to win the Spanish national cup and UEFA Super Cups in addition to the 2009 FIFA Club World Cup.
At the same time, it was when Lionel Messi became the number one player in the world.
Top 4. Manchester United FC (period 1999)

Top 5. Real Madrid FC (period 1955–1960)

Thanks to Robert Pires, Patrick Vieira, Dennis Bergkamp, and Theirry Henry and the swiftly attacking play style, Arsenal eliminated any opponents blocking their way to the league title without too much effort. The famous 49-game invincible record proved the club to be the most excellent team in the Premier League up to now.
Wrapping Up
The greatest football teams of all time don’t need to have the best players. It is understandable as football is a team sport, not a single-player game.
As we can see, good coordination, team spirit, excellent tactics in combination with flexibility in situations are even more critical than top-notch personal skills.
For example, Lionel Messi and Argentina or Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal national team can hardly become the champion of the World Cup.
Anyway, there are always many controversial ideas about the best team in any sport, so we are very willing to listen to your opinion. Feel free to comment below this post.
