NFL 2019 Over/Under Season Predictions
While there is still some time for the 2019 season to begin in September, this is the perfect time to lay down a futures bet on NFL on a legal US sportsbook. Over/Under bets are already open for all games, here are some expert predictions taken from various sources over the internet.
PATRIOTS: OVER
The Patriots have been one of the most consistent teams in the past years, and remain strong favorites to win their Conference and reach once more the Super Bowl. They did lose Gronk for the season, but Bill Belichick is still there with Tom Brady. Last year the Pats won 11 games, first time since 2009 that they do not win 12 games. Can they be losing steam? The safe bet is the Over, but if you want to play the odds this season could their first Under as the main roster gets old.
SAINTS: OVER
The Saints barely make it over the Conference Championships, but this season the team seems to be built with a ton of talent and are favorites to win the Conference. With a 13 win target an over 10.5 win is safe bet.
CHIEFS: UNDER
The Chiefs were a wonder team last season with a lot a hope for 2019 with the likes of Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill. Since then, Hill has been suspended, most likely for much of the season. The Chief’s defense will probably suffer a lot. On our NFL Draft page you can get a better understanding on how our experts view each player stats.
RAMS: OVER
The Rams lost the Super Bowl last season and Todd Gurley’s knee is a mess, but their draft this year looks solid and they still look like scoring a ton of points, no matter who the running back is. They should also be a safe bet to win the NFC West.
EAGLES: OVER
11 wins is a safe target for target for the Eagles with an NFC East championship win.
BEARS: uNDER
The Bears did great last year thanks to very few injuries. That is unlikely to happen this year. They also lost Vic Fangio on the defense. The Packers and Vikings can take them down this season.
PACKERS: UNDER
The packers rely too much on Aaron Rodgers and his health. Their defense also looks weak, and while the Packers are still favorites to win the North Conference, their roster has several weak points.
CHARGERS: OVER
With the Chief’s taking a step back, the closest rivals to move forward are the Chargers. Phillip Rivers is an MVP candidate and the addition of Hunter Henry as another tight end back upgrades their roster.
COLTS: OVER
A bet that sounds very safe as the Colts just upgraded their defense and performed incredible last season with 10 games won. They can certainly overcome that target this year.
VIKINGS: OVER-PUSH
It is a close call as the Vikings look to win the exact 10 games. Their offensive line has been fixed and looks healthier. Not Conference winner prospects but can still make the playoffs.
BROWNS: UNDER
The Browns have not made it into the postseason since 2002, their offensive line is a big red flag and key players have not improved. Add to that an inexperienced coaching staff and this team is doomed.
COWBOYS: Under
The Cowboys remain with the same talent as last season; the problem is most of their rivals got better. Their target is 9 wins, no longer Conference finals favorites.
SEAHAWKS: UNDER
While the Seahawks has talent, their offense performance last season gives a lot to think about Brian Schottenheimer’s strategy. The defense was overly reliant with turnovers. All hopes cannot be on Russell Wilson alone.
FALCONS: UNDER-PUSH
Atlanta invested on their offensive in order to seal the holes from last year but this still has to be proven over the season. So we have little information to know if they got better.
STEELERS: UNDER
They lost Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown. Their receiver’s roster just got very weak with this move. The issues from last season still have to wear out.
