Two American horses set to light up Royal Ascot
Royal Ascot has long been the pinnacle of racing for connections around the world. It is becoming more and more of an attractive option for trainers, and 2019 is set to be no different. Wesley Ward always brings a formidable team over and will be looking to enhance his already impressive record at the track. Here we cover two US horses who look set to play a starring role at the Royal meeting.
Lady Pauline
She looks set to spearhead the Ward team this time around, as she brings in a big reputation. She is a half-sister to the great Lady Aurelia, who shined when being brought over to Royal Ascot for the trainer. Could she yet put a similar performance in as she is set to contest the Queen Mary. Lady Pauline is already as short as 5/2 and proving a popular selection amongst punters who are already building the balances using the offers at bonusnewjersey.com. This shows her reputation, and this price is only set to shorten as we get nearer to the race. The two year old has made just one start on the track as she broke her maiden, winning by 9 ¾ lengths at Keeneland. This was a remarkable performance and the key reason why many are getting very excited about her. She could be a horse to put in a jaw dropping display at the Royal meeting.
Very exciting! The hugely impressive Lady Pauline is set to take in Royal @Ascot Trials day en route to the Royal meeting itself, as Wesley Ward talks UK plans for his star-studded team… https://t.co/cWzoUt26ch pic.twitter.com/TYpJxeNj0g

Newspaperofrecord
Possibly the most exciting young horse in the US, who put in the starring performance at last years Breeders Cup. This was a 6 ¾ length victory in the Juvenile fillies turf, when sent off a shade of odds on. She made all and only had to be pushed out to win very impressively. She is held in the highest regard by her trainer Chad Brown, and he feels she is the perfect horse to take over to the Royal meeting. The three year old is unbeaten in her three starts to date, winning each start by just over six lengths. She is a very exciting horse and another that could put in a very dominating performance at the Royal meeting. Newspaperofrecord is a general 5/2 shot for the Coronation Stakes, which has been muted as her target.
