You have listened to us all season long and now, we are down to our next to last show of the season.
Alan will be joined briefly by his partner Stephen Shoup for today’s show. Steve is on his way to Mobile Alabama to cover the Senior Bowl for the annual Fanspeak NFL Draft Guide preparation. But Steve will stop by to give his prediction and keys to a Ravens win as well.
The Ravens are in Foxborough Massachusetts today to take on the defending AFC Champion New England Patriots. Today’s contest is a rematch of last year’s AFC Championship Game when the Patriots claimed a 23-20 victory to advance to Super Bowl XLVI.
Today’s game marks the seventh time two teams have faced off in the AFL/AFC Championship in back-to-back seasons and the first time since the 1986 and 1987 seasons (Denver-Cleveland).
For the 16th time since 1990 when the NFL adopted the 12-team playoff format and the sixth time in the past 7 seasons, teams that played at least once during the regular season will meet in the AFC Championship Game. On Sunday Night Football in Week 3, the Ravens kicked a game-winning field goal as time expired to earn a 31-30 home victory over the Patriots.
Alan will have the Fanspeak 5 Keys to a Ravens Victory and break down every match-up in the game. How will the Ravens pass defense fair versus Tom Brady and the Patriots hurry up offense? Alan has the game plan.
Can the Patriots low ranked defense stop the Ravens now balanced attack with Ray Rice and Joe Flacco leading the charge? Alan tells you why they will not. Which players are the “X’ factor in this game and what are the Ravens biggest obstacles to victory?
Showtime is 3:30 and will run for two hours. So turn down the NFC Championship game and turn up the FANSPEAK RADIOS NETWORKS PRESENTATION OF THE BALTIMORE RAVENS PRE-GAME SHOW
