REDSKINS / RAVENS PRE-GAME SHOW ON BLOG TALK RADIO WITH STEVE SHOUP

NFL Steve O Speak

Join show hosts Alan Zlotorzynski and Stephen Shoup as they get you ready for the REDSKINS-BROWNS, as well as the RAVENS-BRONCOS on the Fanspeak.com Washington Redskins / Baltimore Ravens Pre-Game Show.

In an important AFC showdown with serious playoff ramifications, the Baltimore Ravens host the NFL’s hottest team, the Denver Broncos, today at M&T Bank Stadium at 1 p.m. ET. The Ravens, losers of two straight on final plays of each game, are 9-4, while the Broncos, winners of eight in a row, are 10-3. The Ravens are trying to make the playoffs for an NFL-best fifth-consecutive season and a win today will secure their second straight AFC North Crown.

Despite taking an 8-point lead with just under 5 minutes left in the game, the Ravens dropped a 31-28 decision in OT at Washington last Sunday. The loss caused Ravens head coach John Harbaugh to fire offensive coordinator Cam Cameron and promote QB coach Jim Caldwell to the position.

The Washington Redskins, owners of the NFC’s longest active winning streak (four games), will travel to face the Cleveland Browns in their Week 15 game today. Kickoff from Cleveland Browns Stadium on Sunday is set for 1 p.m. ET.

The Redskins have won four in a row for the first time since 2008 and kept the streak alive in dramatic fashion vs. Baltimore in Week 14. Rookie quarterback Kirk Cousins tied the game with an 11-yard touchdown pass and a two-point conversion run in the final minute of regulation.

The tie game set the stage for first-year kicker Kai Forbath, who hit a 34-yard game-winning field goal in overtime.  Alan and Steve will cover every angle of both games. Alan will have his Birds of Baltimore’s “5 keys to a Ravens Victory” and Steve will have the same for the Redskins courtesy of Fanspeak.com.

The guys will have audio from all of the today’s participants. You will hear from Peyton Manning, Joe Flacco, RG3 and Brandon Wheeden, plus all four head coaches.

Steve Katz will join the show for his segment, The Ravens Bleacher Bum.com Stats that Matter.

Alan will also take you back to Ravens  first ever playoff game  versus the Denver Broncos on a cold New Year’s Eve day in what now seems like many-many years ago.

Show time is 11:00 a.m. and as always, the show will run for two hours.
