Why I like this Mock: Jay Cutler isn’t someone I think a lot of people consider as a top quarterback option for their team, particularly in a ten team league, but he has a nice chance of being a top 10 fantasy QB. Cutler is in a fantastic situation with two great receivers a quality tight end and a running back who can do some damage out of the backfield. Lacy, Morris and Jennings give this team 3 featured backs who should all be workhorses for their teams. Julius Thomas is the number 2 TE and should be a fantasy star, particularly in PPR formats. At wide receiver Dez Bryant and Michael Floyd give this team two top number ones from offenses that should throw the ball a fair amount. Behind them Mike Wallace and Percy Harvin give this team two other top receivers who can also be used as a starters for the flex position. Having other back-ups like Brady, Miller and Sproles really gives this team a lot of depth.

Why I like this Mock: Matt Stafford has a ton of potential as a fantasy quarterback this year. Already Stafford had a good offensive line in front of him, the best receiver in the league and a pair of running backs who are very dangerous catching the ball out of the backfield. Now the Lions have gone out and added Golden Tate and Eric Ebron to the mix which bringing Peyton Manning‘s former QB/head coach. If Stafford is healthy this year, he has a great chance of being a top 5 fantasy QB again. In case Stafford has some struggles or gets injured, this team has a pretty good back-up option in Phillip Rivers. At running back Forte and Lynch gives this team two top runners, including one who can be a PPR weapon (Forte). Behind them you have Stafford’s 2nd back, Bell, who has been a nice fantasy player and Trent Richardson who has the chance to be a good fantasy player if he can take his game to the next level. At WR this team has Julio Jones, Victor Cruz and Torrey Smith, three guys who should lead their team in yards, catches and probably touchdowns as well.

Mock 3: Kevin, Non-Dynasty and Standard, 12 Team Draft

YOUR PICKS

QB1

DEF1
Seahawks Defense (BYE: 4)

K1
Matt Prater (BYE: 4)

BN1
WR Reggie Wayne (BYE: 10)

BN2
RB Ray Rice (BYE: 11)

BN3
QB Carson Palmer (BYE: 4)

BN4
RB Khiry Robinson (BYE: 6)

BN5
TE Jared Cook (BYE: 4)

BN6
K Steven Hauschka (BYE: 4)

Why I like this Mock: This is a 12 team league and this team has a fantastic foundation with Adrian Peterson and Aaron Rodgers. Getting a top 3 RB and a top 3 QB should go a long way to having this team competitive each and every week. On top of that Andre Ellington and Chris Johnson are solid additional starting backs, while Michael Crabtree, Golden Tate and Reggie Wayne give this team three capable starting receivers. Tight end Jordan Reed could be a steal and put up huge numbers if the Redskins offense clicks this season. Depth is a concern for this team, particularly if Ray Rice doesn’t bounce back this season, but you have to be pretty confident in this starting line-up.
