2014 NFL Mock Draft: Howard Ticker
1)Houston Texans: Jadeveon Clowney, DE, South Carolina
The Houston can use some help on their pass rush and Clowney would come in and immeditaly help JJ Watt and others on defense.
2)Atlanta Falcons: Anthony Barr, DE/OLB, UCLA
The Falcons are another team that needs help with the pass rush. This would be a huge pick up for them.
3)Jacksonville Jaguars: Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville
I believe Bridgewater is a franchise type quarterback. The Jaguars have added some solid pieces on offense and I would take a QB here in a heartbeat.
4)Minnesota Vikings: Tajh Boyd, QB, Clemson
The Vikings QB situation is a mess and they need someone to come in immediately and help this team. Brett Hunley or Jonny Manziel is another option here.
5)Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Khalil Mack, DE, Buffalo
The Bucs really need help with their pass rush so this would be a much needed pick up for them.
6) Oakland Raiders: Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M
I hope Manziel is a guy that can make the wide outs around him better and hopefully turn this franchise around.
7)Cleveland Browns: Marqise Lee, WR, USC
The Browns have Josh Gordon and drafting Marqise Lee would be another huge target that can come in and help whatever quarterback the Browns look to build around.
8) St. Louis Rams: Jake Matthews. OT, Texas A&M
The Rams can use a big tackle and Matthews is the best tackle in the draft.
9) St. Louis Rams (from the Washington Redskins): Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M
I see the Rams adding another wide receiver in this year’s draft. They need more help on the outside to get Tavon Austin more looks in the slot.
10) Buffalo Bills: Vic Beasley, DE/OLB, Clemson
The Bills really need to improve their pass rush and this would be a huge pick up for them.
11)Tennessee Titans: Taylor Lewan, OT. Michigan
The Titans have a need at tackle and Lewan is the best tackle in the draft. They can also go with a corner back here.
12) Pittsburgh Steelers: James Hurst, OT, UNC
The Steelers definitely help on the offensive line and Lewan is my next favorite tackle in this draft.
13) New York Jets: HaHa Clinton-Dix, Safety, Alabama
The Jets have a huge need for a safety and this would be a huge pick up for them. Wide receiver is also a big need but I think they can address that next round.
14) Miami Dolphins: Ra’Shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota
Defensive tackle is a huge need for the Dolphins so the Dolphins would be happy to add Hageman here who is having an absolute beast season.
15) New York Giants: C.J Mosely, ILB, Alabama
The Giants can definitely use linebacker help and Mosely would be a great pick for them.
16)San Diego Chargers: Antonio Richardson, OT, Tennessee
I think Richardson can be a solid left tackle in the next level. This pick would mean the Chargers solidified both tackle positions through the draft the past two seasons.
17)Arizona Cardinals: Louis Nix, DT, Notre Dame
The Cardinals need defensive line help so this is a good pick up for them if Nix drops.
18)Detroit Lions: Bradley Roby, CB, Ohio St
The Lions need cornerback help so this should be a good pick up to go along with Slay who they drafted last year.
19)Green Bay Packers: Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE, Washington
The Packers do not know if they will get Finley back so Seferian-Jenkins can be the future at tight end and help draw some defensive players and open up more potential receptions for the Packers already scary receiving core when healthy. Ebron from UNC is another option here.
20)Baltimore Ravens: Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson
Watkins would be a huge pick up for the Ravens here. The Ravens miss Boldin this season at wide receiver and their tight ends have been weak this year as well. This would be a good pick for them but they can always go defense here as well if someone underachieves.
21) Chicago Bears: Jason Verrett, CB, TCU
The Bears will need cornerback help this offseason because some of their players are heading to free agency. This will be a great pick up for the Bears here.
22)Philadelphia Eagles: Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma State
Corner is a big need for the Eagles so this should be a good pick up. DT is also a need here.
23)Dallas Cowboys: Cyrus Kouandjio, OT, Alabama
The Cowboys need to add youth to their offensive line so this would be a good move here.
24) Cincinnati Bengals: Kyle Van Noy, DE/OLB, BYU
The Bengals can really use another young pass rusher. He can also start if the Bengals lose one of their defensive ends in free agency.
25) Cleveland Browns (from the Colts): Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, CB, Oregon
This guy was an absolute beast last year as Sophomore. He has proven he can get interceptions and pass break ups against good competition. Ekpre-Olomu and Joe Haden would make a great duo.
26) Carolina Panthers: Jordan Matthews, WR, Vanderbilt
Cam Newton can use someone else to throw to. Think about how fun Steve Smith and JOrdsn Matthews would be together.
27)New England Patriots: Timmy Jernigan, DT, FSU
I can see the Pats adding a big defensive line here, especially with the injury to Vince Wilfork.
28) New Orleans Saints: Stephon Tuitt, DE/DT, Notre Dame
Tuitt would be a huge addition to this Saints defense. They would love to have him here.
29)Kansas City Chiefs: AJ Johnson, ILB, Tennessee
The Chiefs have a need at inside linebacker and Johnson should be able to come in and help immediately.
30)San Francisco 49ers: Marcus Roberson, CB, Florida
31)Seattle Seahawks: Aaron Colvin, CB, Oklahoma
Seahawks should go best available here and I like Colvin here for secondary depth. Defensive line is also a possibility here. I like Colvin’s size at the next level.
32)Denver Broncos: Louchiez Purifoy, CB, Florida
The Broncos are another team that need to add some youth to their secondary.
