Top Teams to Keep an Eye on For the Season

Many sports betting providers and online casinos have long taken the growing interest in this sport into account and have included American football games in their betting offerings.

Above all, however, with regard to their quota level, surprisingly a lot of new betting providers and online casinos are particularly generous in American football with the best bonuses ranked at Casino Gorilla.

We take a look at the top teams to keep an eye on for the NFL season.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

A look at the statistics shows how difficult it is to defend the title in the NFL. The last time the New England Patriots succeeded in this was in 2003 and 2004. Quarterback at the time for the Super Bowl winner? Tom Brady. The very same Tom Brady who led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the title last February at the age of 44. Now he wants to win his eighth ring, because as he has often said: “My favorite ring is the next”.

He receives great support on this mission. All 22 starters of the Super Bowl team will play at the Bucs again this season. That automatically makes them one of the favorites and the team to beat.

It wouldn’t be presumptuous to say that the Buccaneers have one of the best and most balanced teams in NFL history.

Kansas City Chiefs

Brady wasn’t the quarterback with the most yards thrown last season. That was Patrick Mahomes, calculated per game. The shooting star, who was elected MVP in 2018 and led his team to the title the following season, only had to admit defeat with his chiefs in the Super Bowl in February. However, it wasn’t the 25-year-old’s fault. Due to injuries in the O-Line, which should protect the quarterback, Mahomes was constantly under pressure from the defensive and often had very little time to bring the egg to the teammate.

But Kansas City has taken care of this vulnerability. Above all, Orlando Brown, who came from Baltimore via trade, should provide more stability in front of the quarterback. The aim is to make the NFL’s most explosive offense even better, with pass takers like Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, some of the best in the league in their respective positions. After the disappointment in the 9:31 bankruptcy against Brady & Co., it is to be expected that the ambitious Patrick Mahomes and coach Andy Reid have used the entire break of the season to improve themselves and the game system.

Buffalo Bills

The surprise of last season was probably the Buffalo Bills – or especially their quarterback Josh Allen. The 25-year-old became one of the league’s top playmakers out of nowhere and even got some votes in the MVP election. It was the big exploit in his third NFL year after a poor season as a rookie and a second season in which he only flashed his talent.

A big help was star receiver Stefon Diggs, who came from Minnesota via trade for several draft picks. It is questionable whether the defense has improved compared to last year. Only two of the twelve playoff teams allowed more points per game than the bills. Especially when everything comes up in January and February, the defense has to be stronger if Sean McDermott’s team wants to play for the title. This is always possible.

Green Bay Packers

Like Mahomes, Rodgers also had to admit defeat to Tom Brady in the playoffs. It was a disappointing end to an incredible season – one of the best in the quarterback career. The triple MVP threw 48 touchdowns and only 5 interceptions, but it was not enough for the second Super Bowl title. Above all, the decision by coach Matt LaFleur to kick a field goal on the fourth down shortly before the end of the semifinals instead of giving Rodgers the chance to level the game with a touchdown and two more points created question marks.
