An attractive betting proposition for the top four in the Premier league?

Steve Shoup

The Premier league season has now restarted for another season. Last year was a difficult one, as we saw the extended break of the coronavirus pandemic on the sport. That led to endless troubles for clubs and their supporters. Fans were looking for other forms of entertainment with the online industry flourishing. This included the likes of gaming and online casinos, with the latter seeing a surge in the numbers of players. Players were using the Age of Gods free spins no deposit, in order to boost their play. This in part, helped with the continued popularity of these platforms, which continued even as sport returned to our screens.

There has now been much anticipation for the upcoming campaign and for Arsenal fans. Both Liverpool and Manchester City are likely to again be ahead of the rest of the league, looking at performances from each of the recent seasons. However, there is no doubting that Arsenal will be hoping for a positive season ahead, as they finished in strong form and appear to have returned in similar.

This comes following a recent victory in the FA Community shield against the defending Premier league champions. The match finished 1-1 in 90 minutes, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang again being the difference with a sublime finish. The match then went to penalties, with Arsenal winning 5-4 and ultimately lifting the trophy.

Prior to this at the end of the previous campaign, Arsenal had also picked up a victory in the FA Cup. This saw the Gunners beat their rivals Chelsea 2-1 in the final. Aubameyang netted a brace and proved just why he is without a doubt one of the best players in the world at present. The gunners captain was again the difference in the match and led the side to a record extending 14th FA Cup title, as they continue to improve under manager Arteta. That was an extremely positive finish to the season for Arsenal, despite them clearly under performing in the Premier league. Arsenal finished down in eighth position and 10 points outside of the top four, finishing below the likes of Leicester City, Tottenham and Wolves. This also saw the side lose 10 Premier league matches over the season, which is above what would have been expected.

Arsenal will certainly now be looking for a more positive season ahead and these recent results have further added to this. It has also led to supporters putting their money down on success for Arsenal and a push for a top four finish. At present they can be supported at a general 5/2, which appears an attractive proposition based on the recent results of the side. This has been a bet that has been a popular one amongst fans, so it will now be interesting to see whether the gunners can make a strong start to the season. On top of this, captain Aubameyang has now signed to stay at the club, which is further positive news.
