Picking a Cheltenham winner

Steve Shoup

The unrivalled action at the Cheltenham festival is always one to savour for racing fans with 2018 set to be no different. There is top class action across all four days with stars on show from both the UK and Ireland. Betting on Cheltenham has also never been easier with offers throughout the meeting. One horse that is likely to be popular with punters is the Gordon Elliot trained Cause of Causes. He joined the select list of horses last year in becoming a three time festival winner following his Cross-Country chase success.

The magnificent horse was following on from his National hunt chase victory in 2015 and his Kim Muir handicap chase victory in 2016. The festival four timer is now on and he heads to defend his crown in the Cross country as the 10/3 market leader with Betfair. If he brings his A game as in previous seasons he is likely to take all the beating come the festival. Check out this infographic below to decipher what key points to look out for on a race card ahead of the festival.
