Washington State quarterback Anthony Gordon threw two touchdowns in the third quarter and the North pass rushers were relentless in a 31-17 win over the South at the 2020 Reese’s Senior Bowl.

Gordon finished 8 of 12 for 69 yards, with TD passes to Notre Dame’s Chase Claypool and Liberty’s Antonio Gandy-Golden.

Oregon QB Justin Herbert, the highest-ranked QB at the Senior Bowl, solidified his standing as a first-round pick after completing 9 of 12 passes for 83 yards and a TD, all in the first quarter, en route to winning game MVP honors.

Gordon was the North Player of the Game.

Defensively, Utah’s Bradlee Anea and Michigan State’s Kenny Willekes had two sacks (unofficially) while Syracuse’s Alton Robinson had 1.5 sacks. Willekes and Robinson were at one time thought to be potential Day 1 picks, while Anea has seen his draft stock fluctuate this season.

The top-rated defensive player, South Carolina defensive lineman Javon Kinlaw, did not play in the game after he suffered a minor injury earlier in the week.
