New mock draft slates Tennessee WR Jauan Jennings as a first-rounder

NFL Draft News

Tennessee wide receiver Jauan Jennings was a bright spot on an otherwise average season in Knoxville.

The 6-foot-3, 208 pound senior finished the season with 59 receptions for 969 yards and 8 touchdowns, all career-highs. He wrapped his Tennessee career with 146 receptions for 2,153 yards and 18 TDs.

All good numbers.

But “first-round” good?

Apparently so, according to Pro Football Focus.

PFF recently released another mock draft, where it has Jennings going to Green Bay with pick No. 30 overall.

From the PFF mock draft:

“This might be a bit of a surprise, but when you flip on the tape, you’ll see a rare skillset that is unmatched in this class. There are not many 6-foot-3, 210-pound wideouts who are as shifty after the catch as Jennings is.”

Jennings broke 30 tackles this season, according to PFF.
