1- Ezekiel Elliott– RB- Cowboys

I think this is the obvious choice and I could be cute and name someone else but it ain’t happening.  Elliott should be ready to play both skill wise and back from the early hamstring issues.  Add to that the situation of running behind the Dallas line which made Darren McFadden look good last season.  One concern is always the health of Tony Romo and the Cowboys reluctance to address the backup QB spot.  Unless you are reading this and Josh McCown has been traded from Cleveland.

2- Laquon Treadwell- WR- Vikings

I am going with Treadwell as the best option at receiver over Doctson, Coleman, Fuller, etc.  Does Teddy Bridgewater concern me?  A bit but the opportunity will be there for Treadwell to be a star quickly.  Especially after seeing what a later round pick like Stephon Diggs did a year ago.  I really think Treadwell could break 1000 yards as a rookie.

3- Derrick Henry– RB- Titans

I wasn’t sleeping when the Titans acquired Demarco Murray from Philly.  I just still think Henry will make an impact in year one and now teams run two backs all the time.  Henry is good, real good and I think he will surprise some with a home run ability.  The Titans will probably suck so why wouldn’t you look to get a Mariota/Henry thing going now and not later.

4- Corey Coleman- WR- Browns

Someone has to catch the ball for the Browns?  Why not the rookie Coleman who teams up with fellow Baylor alum Robert Griffin for the woeful Browns.  Griffin may stink get benched or even get hurt but Coleman will be out there.  Josh Gordon will be back but how long?  Browns may try and move him for another pick and end the game.  Coleman should break a few also Desean Jackson like which everyone loves.

5- Sterling Shepard– WR- Giants

When the Giants took Shepard everyone applauded the pick.  Especially Giants fans because they weren’t used to solid picks made by Jerry Reece.  The Giants have a void after Beckham Jr. and Shepard should get every shot to grab that gig.  He should get catch plenty of balls and build up a solid PPR resume.
