Steve Shoup
Steve Shoup grew up and lives in Northern VA. He is a diehard Washington fan, but is more realistic than his sister Megan.
He grew up following the NFL Draft since he was a kid and then became obsessed with the NFL offseason. So much so that he created Fanspeak’s On the Clock mock draft simulator and Manage the Cap free agency simulator. His love for the NFL offseason fed right into his love for fantasy football.
Steve has decades of experience with Redraft fantasy leagues. He also has several years of experience with Dynasty fantasy leagues as well. More recently he has studied and actively played in NFL Best Ball fantasy leagues. Steve also plays NFL DFS and has several wins and top 10 finishes in tournaments on DraftKings over the past 9 years.
He will be writing about the NFL Draft, Free Agency, Fantasy Football (Redraft and Dynasty), Best Ball, and NFL DFS year around. You can follow Steve on Twitter @steveospeak.

Quarterback: Jalen Hurts Kyler Murray C.J. Stroud Lamar Jackson Derek Carr Brock Purdy Sleepers: Baker Mayfield, Dak Prescott, Anthony Richardson, Geno Smith, Sam Darnold, Jared Goff, Caleb Williams The top of the QB board is pretty straight forward, with Hurts as the clear number 1, and then some combination of Murray, Stroud and Jackson behind…

Quarterbacks: Lamar Jackson Patrick Mahomes Kyler Murray Dak Prescott Anthony Richardson Baker Mayfield Sleepers: Jayden Daniels, Brock Purdy, Jared Goff, Joe Burrow, Matt Stafford, Justin Herbert, Daniel Jones, Justin Fields/Russell Wilson Assuming that Jackson is fully healthy, I think he's clearly the top QB option on the week. The Ravens need to come out with…

Quarterbacks: Josh Allen C.J. Stroud Kyler Murray Joe Burrow Tua Tagovailoa Anthony Richardson Sleepers: Dak Prescott, Caleb Williams, Trevor Lawrence, Baker Mayfield, Jayden Daniels, Geno Smith, Sam Darnold The Quarterback position this week does feel a little top-heavy with so many elite QBs playing prime time. Josh Allen absolutely stands out in a great…

One way to get different in Best Ball drafts is if you can hit on some late round guy(s) who not only exceeds value, but isn't even near 100% drafted, you can really gain an edge in tournaments. For positions like QB and TE anyone who ends up under 50% owned is kind of unique,…

When it comes to drafting receivers in best ball drafts, one key area that can get overlooked is the quality of the offense that they are on. No one questions the talent of a player like Garrett Wilson, but when Aaron Rodgers went down that offense plummeted and he finished as WR 31 overall and…

If someone were to make the argument that a 1st round rookie receiver is being drafted way too high in Underdog Best Ball drafts, one would probably assume it was Marvin Harrison Jr. Many feel that despite his draft status, and clear role as the Cardinals' number 1 receiver, Harrison isn't worthy of being taken…

*Some of these players might still be viable in the right build/stack, but these are the players I feel are generally going too high in Underdog Best Ball drafts. James Cook (ADP: 56): Now Cook is an example of a player who in the right build/stack I can be more on board with him around…

New York Giants: Malik Nabers (ADP: 27), Wan'Dale Robinson (ADP: 167), Darius Slayton (ADP: 205.1), Jalin Hyatt (ADP: 211.9) Nabers: Nabers is a bit too high priced given the concerns of the Giants offense. Ideally he's going a round or two later, as it could be tough for him to match some of the top…

Carolina Panthers: Diontae Johnson (ADP: 70.1), Xavier Legette (ADP 141.3), Adam Thielen (ADP: 162.4), Jonathan Mingo (ADP: 215.7) Johnson: The Panthers brought in Johnson this offseason via trade and he should take over as Carolina's top offensive weapon. If the new offense can help get Bryce Young up to a good level, Johnson could be…

Denver Broncos- Courtland Sutton (ADP-92.6), Troy Franklin (ADP-171.9), Marvin Mims Jr. - (ADP 180.9), Josh Reynolds (ADP-215.5) Sutton- Sutton is dealing with some contract issues, but most likely he's ready to roll when the season starts. He should be the clear cut number one on this team, and did great last year in Sean Payton's…
