DAILY DISCUSSION: Ducks and Chip Kelly

The Oregon Ducks won another Bowl game on Thursday night, defeating Kansas State in the Fiesta Bowl.  With all the success at Oregon, you have to think Kelly is ready to move onto the NFL. Especially with the recent success of college coaches like Harbaugh and Pete Carroll.

So do you think he'll move onto the NFL next season? And which NFL team is the best fit for him?

    I feel like he'll end up with Eagles. If that's the case I hope he's a huge failure in the NFL!

    I think he has to be ready because he is going unless his boy Bill Belichick calls him and says hold up a year or two and you can have my job when I retire. But I don't see that. I think the Browns have a good chance even though Weeden isn't an attractive catch. I think Haslem and Banner can sell him on what they got over Lurie and Roseman.

      i see him with the Browns as well, they have brought in so much young talent the last few years he'll have more overall to work with

    I met Kelly a couple of times when he was at New Hampshire, man how times have changed. I don't see why he's such a hot NFL candidate, I think this has Spurrier 2.0 written all over it.

      it does surprise me somewhat. I know Schiano was pretty solid year one, and Carroll and Harbaugh "made the transition" but both of those guys had a ton of NFL experience. Kelly has ZERO. How quickly do people forget Spurrier, Saban and Petrino (among others).

        I was going to say, before Carroll and Harbaugh, college coaches usually lay an egg in the NFL.

        If you think Kelly is going to be the next Spurrier, then I hope the Eagles do get him…haha!
