DAILY DISCUSSION: What a 2nd Super Bowl Win for Coughlin Would Mean?
February 1, 2012 in Uncategorized by Steve Shoup
For a coach who seems to be threatened to be fired every season, Tom Coughlin is a win away from his 2nd Super Bowl ring?
So what would that do for the head coach? Talk of Hall of Fame? Atleast would it hush the “fire Coughlin” rumors for a few years? Just how much impact do you think a win Sunday will have on Tom Coughlin?

I think a Super Bowl win for coughlin (making 2) would definitely hush the “fire coughlin” for atleast a couple seasons! It should…they should be grateful!
It’s New York, so every coach and ever player (except Derek Jeter) is on the hotseat 24/7 — I don’t think even winning a 2nd Super Bowl would change that for Coughlin.
It would mean that he’s gotten lucky twice.. but we all kmnow the Patriots will win this Super Bowl and Coughlin will retire..
It’s funny but listening to Coughlin interviews this week it makes it hard to dislike the man. He seems to have developed a human side.
