DAILY DISCUSSION: College Bowl Games Announced
December 5, 2011 in Uncategorized by Steve Shoup
So the College Bowl Games were announced Sunday night and schedules are set - http://espn.go.com/college-football/overview/_/week/17.
What do you think…
Do you agree with the BCS bowl games and match-ups?
How about the other Bowl match-ups, especially for ranked teams?
Which Bowl games are you most excited to watch? Which will be the biggest snorefest?

I think the National Championship game is pretty boring…we’ve seen it already and it was 9-6! Wish Ok State would have gotten a chance.
Happy to see Stanford, VA Tech, and Michigan get BCS bowl games after impressive seasons!
And although a very boring bowl game, was happy to see Pitt still got a bowl game this season!
YEAH…GO PITT !!!
OK State was robbed. I yelled at my TV even though I knew it would happen. I’m not sure I support Virginia Tech in the Sugar bowl either after that terrible game against Clemson. Baylor and K State were good contenders (I feel bad for Washington playing Baylor…I will support the Pac-12, but they will get crushed in that game). The rest of the picks were ok. For the Pac-12, I’m hoping for a 5-2 finish in the bowl games, although that is a lot to ask. Not sure UCLA will even show up to their game (although applying for the waiver means someone out there wants to win). I think Cal and Utah have fighting chances (Cal has been on a major upswing lately, and Utah – despite their implosion with Colorado – can potential). Arizona State is a wild card for me. We’ll see what happens with their coaching change. And you know I think Oregon and Stanford will win!
They really do need to have play off games.
Jan, Pitt only made it because Syracuse sucks.
Andrea, agreed! We want a playoff tournament!!!!
