I like Georgetown as a potential team to win the Midwest, though I’m not sold on Maryland at all. They are too one dimensional for me, and beat up some on a weak ACC (yet still weren’t able to dominate). Georgia Tech is such an enigma to me. They have so much talent (possibly the most in all the ACC this year), but they don’t show up half the time. Favors is a bit too inconsistent for me, as both a college player and an NBA prospect (please Washington don’t draft him). Maybe in two year’s i’ll consider him a dominate player, but right now I’m not sure if he’ll show up.

This looks like a really tough region. It wouldn’t be surprising at all to see Georgetown or even Maryland take the region. Michigan State looks tough for a 5, and Georgia Tech has to be one of the more talented 10 seeds.
