Eagles vs. The Giants

Tonight’s game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants is about more than just division rivalry or payback (for the 40-17 shellacking the Eagles gave the Giants). Serious playoff implications are on the line tonight as the Eagles come into New York at 8-4 and in 2nd place in their division. The Giants started the season 5-0 and seemed destined to win the NFC East, but are now sitting at 7-5 and one spot out of the playoffs. Tonight’s game is a must win for the Giants and a needed win for the Eagles.
While the actual postseason won’t be decided tonight I think the Giants win and show they are still a force in the NFC. I think they win by 10 with an impressive 31-21 showing. With the Vikings and Saints already clinching the playoffs and the Packers win today the Giants are up against the wall. I think they will rise to the occasion.
