Why I like it:
This is obviously a trade down mock, and Matt here does a nice job of stockpiling the Vikings with picks. Minnesota is a team that will likely be rebuilding this next season so adding depth and upside is key. Kony Ealy with the top pick adds the final piece to an impressive Vikings offensive line, one that should get a lot of pressure on the quarterback while controlling the line of scrimmage in the run game. Next CB/S Lamarcus Joyner is a nice versatile pick-up for this Vikings secondary. You can make a case for him at either corner or safety and he should be a guy who is always around the football making plays. Next Gabe Jackson along with Jon Halapio and Justin Brittt later, really add some nice pieces to the offensive line. Jackson is a guy who could start early and help open up holes for Adrian Peterson. A.J. McCarron might not be a star quarterback, but he has a chance to make it as a solid starter and at the very least he could be a good back-up. Robert Herron adds another weapon and could be a good playmaker from the slot. Shane Skov, Will Sutton and Marcus Roberson all help add depth and potential on defense for the Vikings and could see early playing time. All-in-all this is a very strong Vikings draft.

Why I Like it:
One reason why I like this mock is that it takes a different approach, but still one that could be very successful for the Cowboys. In this draft Aaron Donald was off the board (a very popular target for the Cowboys), but instead of panicking and reaching for another pass rusher, Gordon gets a nice fit here in Louis Nix. While the Cowboys are a 4-3 team they still need a DT who can play that NT position. Right now they don’t have it on the roster so Nix could come in and fit that bill. He can be the run stuffer and the guy who is forcing double teams in the middle freeing up everyone else. In the 2nd round, while there were some tempting defensive options, I like the pick-up of Yankey. The Cowboys are set at two OL positions, LT and C, but everything else is a bit up in the air. Getting a third piece along the OL makes Romo’s and Murray’s job that much easier. In the 3rd round Nix teammate Stephon Tuitt is nabbed. He can play some base end as well as some 3 tech, giving the Cowboys some versatility, upside and pass rush ability. The picks of Gaines, Johnson and Paker really add some nice depth to the secondary. At the same time Sankey and Washington give depth to two key positions on offense that are pretty thin. Overall it is a well rounded draft, that fills needs and adds depth.

Why I like it:
The  Falcons have had a good offseason so far, but they haven’t been able to address every need. This draft helps fill in a lot of those gaps. At the top Khalil Mack gives Atlanta the impact pass rusher they are looking for. In Atlanta’s defense he will probably play a role similar to Von Miller where he stands up on early downs and puts his hand in the dirt on passing downs. Mack has the potential to be as good as Miller in this role and he isn’t a guy who will get exposed in coverage when asked to do it. In the 2nd round Jace Amaro can replace Tony Gonzalez and give Matt Ryan another big weapon to use in the passing game. In the 3rd Cameron Fleming is a potential starting tackle and with how the line crumbled down the stretch, just having him for depth purposes alone (and he could push to start) makes him a valuable pick. Seastrunk, Archer and Latimer add depth and more weapons to this offense, while C.J. Barrett adds much needed depth to the secondary. Seastrunk especially could be an interesting guy to watch because he balances Steven Jackson so well and can be the 3rd down back potentially.
