Seattle Seahawks Team Needs for 2013 NFL Draft

April 22, 2013 in Team Needs

1. Defensive Tackle

2. Guard

3. Wide Receiver

4. Offensive Tackle

5. Tight End

6. Cornerback

7. Outside Linebacker

The Seahawks filled their biggest needs already with adding Percy Harvin at WR and a pair of talented defensive ends. Seattle can now focus on some of their secondary needs. Adding some defensive tackle rotational help makes a lot of sense, as well as a corner and outside linebacker later.

Offensively they could use perhaps another wide receiver and tight end, in an effort to create more favorable mismatches. Tackle and Guard depth are considerations as well.

I disagree with your priorities. I think the #1 need is offensive tackle, because Giacomini is a free agent next year, and McQuistan is highly paid for a 6th O-lineman. The Hawks could probably draft a tackle and use him at guard if need arises. I think that the Hawks should take a tackle with their first pick, because it seems to me that the drop off is probably pretty steep after the 2nd. It all depends on whether there is a run on the 2nd tier of tackles. I do agree that WR should be a high priority, but there are lots of WR's with lots of potential that will be available as late as the 5th. I'd also like to grab at least one huge run stuffer and preferably two, looking to replace Mebane and Red Bryant in the future.
