Philadelphia Eagles Team Needs for 2013 NFL Draft

NFL Draft Team Needs

1. Quarterback

2. Offensive Tackle

3. Cornerback

4. Guard

5. Inside Linebacker

6. Safety

7. Defensive End

8. Outside linebacker

The Eagles have done well in free agency to not force themselves into a corner with the 4th overall pick. Now they can draft not out of desperation, but due to what’s the best value based on their long term considerations.

Quarterback could still be an option, especially since they could then look to trade Nick Foles to a team where he’d fit better. Grabbing a young mobile quarterback in the 2nd-4th rounds makes a lot of sense for Philly.

The Eagles need to also prioritize their offensive line. They could focus on a tackle in case Jason Peters doesn’t come back healthy, or they could focus a bit more on interior as Danny Watkins has yet to show his value as a first round pick from a couple years ago.

Defensively the Eagles can use some help just about everywhere, but nothing is drastic. I’d expect them to look earlier to the corner/safety position given the strength of this draft, and their attempt to completely revamp the position.
