haha, yeah I never saw them overturning this. It’s a gray area on both sides and the league has more precedence backing them up.

I’m still upset over this issue and think we did nothing wrong, but it is what it is and we just need to do the best job we can in-spite of this injustice. Sounded like a Don King disciple right there, LOL!

I know he wants to get paid, but from what I’ve read he’s really only looking for a 1 year deal (and it will be pro rated) So if you pay him $12 million (only $8 million for the last 4 months) I think that is fine.

Real question is did Todd Haley call Big Ben yet? The Steelers like the Ravens, Giants and Packers continue to build and rebuild without having down years. This is just another case.

@Anthony yeah i guess i just wouldn’t push him b/c while the Ravens could lose Lewis or Reed to retirement soon, I still don’t think that window is close to closing. Suggs in 2013 is key to that team’s success. But you are right he is a bit of a freak.

@steveospeak Good point. I do worry about his declarations that he will be back in October, which obviously is ridiculous. It makes me think he is going to push it unnecessarily. I also think he may be part monster and incapable of feeling pain, which could really affect his judgement.

Yeah and I thought that was pretty good for Kerrigan to just miss the cut. There is a ton of young talent out there, so to essentially be in the top 20 is pretty good.

@Anthony- I do expect big things from Upshaw this season, though I do worry about trying to force Suggs back too early. I know there is a chance he’d be back by playoff time, but there is some risk there. Not sure if it is worth it.

Yeah i def. don’t think he’s worth that much, my guess is he’s cut before next offseason to save them some money. He can be an okay number 3 or 4 receiver, but the Ravens shouldn’t expect too much.
