@steveospeak Good point. I do worry about his declarations that he will be back in October, which obviously is ridiculous. It makes me think he is going to push it unnecessarily. I also think he may be part monster and incapable of feeling pain, which could really affect his judgement.

@steveospeak Happy bday! What did you think of the Cousins pick? Also what are your thoughts on the 49er’s first pick, a lot of people seem to think it may be a reach. After their last first round pick (Aldon Smith) where most thought it was also a bit of a reach (me included) I will give them the benefit of the doubt.

For any other team I’d love the Cousins pick in the 4th round, but the Skins have already spent too many resources on QB given all the picks they’ve traded. So while I think they got really good value and a back-up QB is highly important, it wasn’t a good pick for Washington.
As for the 49ers, I really don’t know what they are doing. I know alot thought Aldon Smith was a reach last year, but I thought he was a steal. Even in a limited role he had elite impact and he filled a big need. This pick I really don’t get A.J. Jenkins is a nice receiver, but no where near 1st round material. And while I love LaMichael James, I thought he was a bit high in the 2nd round, and they just drafted Hunter who has some of the same skills last year. Even with special teams it may be hard to get James enough touches to justify this pick.

@steveospeak why do people insist on drafting people from Va Tech has anyone besides Mike Vick ever panned out??? and even Vick was questionable for awhile.

So with Redskins free agency being that more important this year, I have to ask @steveospeak and Redskins fans….what should be the priorities now that we know we’ll have Griffin (or Luck)?

(First resign players like Fletcher most importantly, Carriker, and other depth players like Cory Litchenscheitcher)
#1 – Top Guard – Grubbs or Nicks
#2 – Safety to replace Landry – what good names are available to go with Otagwe? We can’t assume Doughty or DJ Gomes can handle this starting job. I know a lot of safeties got franchised. Who should redskins target here?
#3 – OT- Anthony Collins or Jared Gaither? I still want to draft a RT with our 3rd or 4th round pick!
#4 – top WR – I’m thinking we should target Colston and then go after a WR in 4th round since its deep class. Could Colston be a #1 though?
#5 – backup QB – cut Beck, so who will backup QB be? How much would upgrading the #2 QB to be Orton over Grossman cost? Would Orton come here knowing he’s really not the #1 QB and will be the backup?
#6 – CB depth and we need to draft a CB in 4th or 5th round too.
#7 – ILB depth (even if we resign Fletcher and have Riley…we need better ILB depth)Thoughts? Free agency is less than 48 hours away!

Martin really impressed me today, I think he’ll move up some draft boards and be a solid mid round guy

thanks! yeah the Senior Bowl week has been a little crazy so far, but a great experience. That Kelly rollacoaster must have been tough. He made the smart move for right now, but hopefully this doesn’t worry too many recruits.

They were all great today from highlights I saw. But the OKState/Stanford game was the best! 2 quarterbacks that will probably be a big success in the NFL battling in a shootout. haha maybe we should do if you finish with 50% of my points, starts off next quarter with 1,000 points
