I’m a guy, I’m in my 15th season, to go into another year, not having a quarterback, was not very appealing to me. I’ll tell you that. When they were able to make the trade, knowing that we would get either Luck or him, it definitely made the situation a lot brighter as far as coming back here. I’ve had enough years of the other stuff.”

The two prospects the Nationals gave up for Gomes seemed pretty good.
I don’t know enough about it but was concerned. Steve said probably because they’re going to trade away Nix soon. Harper will be in left field next year anyways. Now I think we need to be aggressive for a centerfielder and pitchers in offseason. Because the rest of the team is shaping up great!

I can’t believe he was that candid and open about the subject! Glad to heat he’s on board and excited about the team getting RG3, but those comments blow me away because normally a guy like London Fletcher doesn’t give the media anything to run with.
