Man, I was quite shocked with our pick in the 3rd round with all that talent still on the board. I was thinking Massie, one of the top CB’s, Markelle Martin. I will say, I was crushed when the Packers stole Casey Heyward. SteveO, you had me doing Kool Aid keg stands for him!

I have followed Hogshaven religiously (although, I just became official now that I saw you became a writer for them)…and I’ve always appreciated their opinions and coverage for the Skins…but man, I don’t think I could disagree more with them on their opinions when it comes to rebuilding our franchise. I think I may have been the only one on there that saw eye to eye with you lol. I couldn’t let my boy Steve Shoop ba Doop go down like that! lol. I know you can hold your own, but there were some real douches on there. Like that guy, CuseSkins fan or something like that. He was a tool.

I agree Megan…we need to keep playing it smart…especially in free agency. This is not a one year fix. I don’t want us to put ourselves in a bind (contract wise, guaranteed money) for the future.

thanks Joe, yeah that CuseSkins is an idiot (and that has to hurt you saying that). I mean I understand I can be out there at times, but I was just shocked with the outrage i stirred by saying the Redskins should trade from strength. But yeah hopefully I will start converting some of those readers to the side of how to really fix this team.

Overall, I do agree with your grade Steve. If we would have grabbed a couple OLineman, it would have been an A+. I will say, the Giants….man, they killed it! I was so pissed that players kept falling to them. They added Prince to their secondary and Austin to their already killer D-Line…CRAP!!! Shanny, go [...]

Syracuse is always dangerous in the big dance…no matter what their seed is. Boheim is a crafty coach and their zone defense is always tough to beat…I’ll admit I haven’t had as much time to watch much of them this year…but I think this year is as wide open as it has ever been. I don’t think Syracuse is by any means a favorite, but they could make a run if they get hot. I like them to at least get to the Sweet 16…
Back when a young freshman named Carmelo Anthony came to Cuse…I told all my friends before the season started they were going to win it all…but again they had Carmelo Anthony. I dont have the same feeling this year but they could do some damage.

I’m glad you guys like the pic! I thought it was pretty funny…and pretty much sums up Shanny and the Redskins last year. However, I’m hopeful for a much improved Redskins team next year (if we have football)…At least we have finally started to rebuild the roster.
SteveO and Meg..what do u think ? Do you have any inside scoop on if NLFPA and Owners will reach an agreement in time?
