@geoffnelowet what has gotten into Blatche he is playing up to his potential finally I guess he realized if he actually performs he could end up with even more money
lol, Blatche is such an anomaly. Cleveland – Charlotte – Detroit in consecutive games helps a lot though. Let’s see him do anything like that against Chicago or Boston
That might be slightly unfair. Let’s see him be an effective scorer and rebounder against an average team with a solid inside presence ie memphis.
haha, yeah I’m not ready to call him reformed yet, but yeah 3 games in a row is pretty promising, especially considering the Wizards are down so many guys

@geoffnelowet I can’t believe Bibby agreed to that buyout, but boy am i happy. Wizards got essentially 2 first rounders and cap room for Hinrich, not too shabby.
Yeah this was a huge shock to me, and they originally got Hinrich and the 17th pick for nothing! Props to EG on those moves. Bibby agreeing to the buyout was definitely the icing on the cake.

@geoffnelowet not much from the new guys, but that was a good first game by the new look Wizards. I do have to say N. Young impressed me, which is a bit surprising to me, b/c I’ve never been a big fan of his.
My only contention with the trade is that Jordan Crawford and Nick Young really can’t ever play on the court at the same time. Although, so far, I’m really impressed with Crawford. He shoots too much, but is super aggressive and physical, and I’ve seen him make a number of nice passes that Young could never make.
Yeah, while Nick Young has developed value, he’s still too much of a shooter to me, I don’t like him with the ball in his hand unless he is shooting or going to the basket. I think Crawford has a lot of promise. Hopefully he works on his shot selection, but the rest of his game really impresses me.

@geoffnelowet I don’t mind McNabb getting a pass, but I just have a problem with the double standard. Obviously McNabb is frustrated after that play, but it is Kyle Shanahan’s job to tell him what he did wrong. McNabb might not have had good protection on that play, but he needs to recognize that quicker and [...]

@geoffnelowet did you hear/read an explanation why Wall was the only rookie to play last night? I would have loved to have gotten some feedback on Booker or Seraphin, but was shocked they were both Coaches decisions
Just saw this.
Yeah, I was wondering about that too. Just watched tonight’s game and Booker got some time in the second half. I don’t think either of those guys are going to make major immediate impacts, which is disturbing with Booker because he was a senior at Clemson. I thought he would make his way into the eight-man rotation this year. But who knows — it’s the preseason. I just want the Wiz to win more than 30 games this year!
