Glad you were nice to the O’s… pitching hasn’t looked too good the last couple games… hopefully they can survive the Red Sox and then get back on track against the Royals.

Went 2/2 on my NBA game predictions tonight. With that being said I cannot wait to see this Spurs and Thunder series.
That will be a great Western Conf. Finals!

Still 11 minutes left in the 4th quarter and I am saying the Lakers are done. Kobe just couldn’t do it all by himself and he did what was enough to win in all but one of the games this series. Lakers very well could have gone into tonight up 3-1 but instead will be eliminated in 5. This will be a different Laker roster next season.

The Yankees are just awful right now, this is getting ridiculous. Even with all the injuries they have, this is inexcusable.
what do you think their biggest issue is?
In one word: inconsistency. both on offense and pitching
surprising given how veteran that team is. How’s the bullpen holding up with the injuries?
they are alright but we haven’t been able to see them in a meaningful game because we are never in one. they always play when down haha.

Wow, in complete shock. Former WVU football coach Bill Stewart just passed away of a heart attack. May not have been the most popular coach from fans but he represented WVU with class no matter the circumstance and loved this school. RIP
Thats very sad. Not a WVU fan at all but Bill Stewart was a good guy and a good interview. Always positive

I have to agree with you! The Pacers let a golden opportunity slip past them yesterday, but I tip my hat to LeBron and D-Wade for getting their team a season saving win on the road in a very hostile arena. I hate to give James any credit, but he did what needed to be done to win.

BTW, if you want to know how well Adam Jones is doing this year, he’s got 14 home runs (only four behind Josh Hamilton for the MLB lead) and is hitting .308 and has scored 32 runs (third in the AL). The O’s lead the majors in home runs, by the way, and have the second best bullpen ERA in baseball. Jim Johnson’s 15 saves are two more than anybody else and he even missed a few games with injury. Just sayin…
Should have got something worked out with Jones long term in March. Now its just going to cost more. Either way, get it done Angelos. They should beat their usual 1 all star this season.

Jones really has broken out this year… much better than last year… hope they can sign him long-term too… making that Bedard trade look pretty amazing, eh?
I agree that he’s broken out and raised the level of his play tremendously this season. The O’s better get a new deal done this season b/c his agent has stated that he will test free agency after next season without a new deal in place by the end of this season. Plus I’m loving this b/c Jones is on 2 of my 3 fantasy teams. On one I have Jones, Hamilton, and Granderson.

I’ve heard that he will announce his retirement at some point and has already accepted the fact his career is over. I hate to see guys go out this way, but it’s always a risk.
