It was a great win for Pitt. Georgetown surprised me. I thought they played very uninspired ball last night. Hopefully Pitt won’t be looking ahead to the upcoming Syracuse game and end up getting surprised by Seton Hall.
Seton Hall still has that Hazell who kills Pitt with three’s, they need to find a defensive plan for him, if so i think they will be fine.

What a great game tonight at the Verizon Center when the Pitt Panthers where matched up against the Georgetown Hoyes. The Pitt Panthers played great as a team tonight and brought home a BIG WIN for the fans. Till next game “LET’S GO PITT !!!

Disappointing loss in the opener to Utah. They are going to have to trust in Sunseri a little more and take the reins off of him in order to keep defenses honest, especially around the red zone. If everyone knows that Lewis is going to keep getting the ball down there, then we’re going to be seeing lots of field goal attempts. The offense needs to be more creative and loosen things up. The QB sneak on 4th and 1 was scary. Since everybody was expecting a conservative call there (and got it), taking advantage of the element of surprise perhaps with a play action rollout or something similar could have resulted in six points. Granted, they tried the rollout on the first play of OT with bad results, but Utah was probably in a better defense to defend it then, as opposed to a 4th and 1 situation. Just suggesting that they shouldn’t be afraid to be a little daring, especially early in the year so that teams down the road have more to think about.
Agreed! I hope this QB shakes this off and they put this behind him! Bad way to start though!

Very dissapointed to see Pitt basketball's early exit of the tournament! But I think they're youth caught up with them. I expect great things of them next year!

It was very disappointing! But I think things look bright for next year. We'll be more experienced – Dante Taylor really improved down the stretch and Jermaine Dixon will be GONE! He was good defensively but for the most part was a liability offensively.

Sad the Panthers are already out of the Big East Tournament! They used to do so well in this tournament! Oh well…hopefully Pitt gets a 4 seed and plays well in the big tournament!!
