Possible McNabb trade — Are Eagles fans Spoiled Brats?

My wish for the 2010 NFL season (besides for my Skinnies to just be decent this year and not an embarrassment like last season)…
That the Philadelphia Eagles trade to Donavan McNabb to the Raiders or whoever. Then Kevin Kolb becomes their starting quarterback and lays an egg!
Why do I want to see this happen? Is it because I’d like to see the Eagles at the NFC East cellar and not us? Sure. But the REAL reason I’d like to see this happen is to laugh in all the Eagles fans faces that have been bitching and complaining for all these years about Donavan McNabb!
What a bunch of spoiled brats these fans are! In the last decade, McNabb has lead them to 5 NFC Championships and a Super Bowl, not to mention just getting them to the playoffs time after time. As a Redskins fan, do you know what I’d give to experience a decade of that success?! Sure, he (they) never won the Super Bowl…but he got you to the big game, and that’s more than a lot of teams and quarterbacks ever experience.
I recently had this debate with an Eagles fan, and I know plenty of other Eagles fans feel this way (they say good riddance McNabb and they point out all his faults). But won’t it be hilarious if they have a dud or even just an average quarterback in Kolb and all of a sudden they’re not the perriniel playoff team they once were? After the Redskins heyday in the 80s/early 90s, my fellow Redskins and I have SUFFERED through years of mediorcy or just bad teams…and LOTS of BAD Quarterbacks!
So…that’s my wish…that the spoiled Eagles fans realize that sometimes its better the devil you know. And I hope I learn from their lesson and IF the Redskins ever find a quarterback that takes us to Championships, I won’t complain and call for his head on the years he does not. Oh, and if McNabb won the Super Bowl with the Raiders, that would even be more hilarious (as long as they weren’t playing the Redskins of course!)
