Tailgate Recipes!

Public Group active 1 week, 6 days ago

What’s sometimes almost better than going to a professional sports game? In my mind…tailgating! Its a fun time with family and friends! But in my case, its also a time to enjoy great food and drink (and go over my daily calories in one sitting).

Every family or tailgate probably has their staple of tailgate recipes they turn to for home games. Here’s an opportunity for FANS to SHARE their favorite tailgate recipes. So maybe at the next tailgate, you can try a new dish!

Thanks Miranda…great group idea! Hope people use it and enjoy sharing!

After each home Redskins game, I will post the Shoup Family Tailgate MENU here. We have been very proud and pleased with our tailgate menus this season. And while we don’t know if the Redskins will continue winning, we know we will continue to present great tailgates every home game!

Since I missed the first couple home games, I’ll just say that we haven’t even done the traditional burgers & hotdogs yet for our main course. Our main courses have included Steak Sandwiches, Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Eggs & Crossaints for brunch, and Beer Chicken!

Menu for October 17 home game against the Colts:
    -Beer Chicken sandwiches
    -Pasta Salad (homemade)
    -Cheese & crackers
    -Baked Potato dip & chips
    -Fruit, veggies & dip
    -Cake Brownies
-And of course plenty of Coors Lights!

Let me know if you want us to post any recipes from any of our Shoup Family Tailgate Menus!

I’ll post our drink menu each home game as well! As rule of thumb 1 p.m. games is champagne and 4 p.m. or night games are beer! LOL
