Preparing for REDSKINS DYNASTY!

I smell DYNASTY for the 2010s! Why?

-Fired the team tumor that was Vinny Cerrato.
-Hired a legitimate and ACTUAL GENERAL MANAGER in Bruce Allen (the history and nostalgia doesn’t hurt there either)
-Fired Jim Zorn…nice guy but wasn’t doing the job!
-Hired an OFFENSIVE minded head coach with Super Bowl rings in Mike Shanahan.
-Hired an agressive defensive coordinator in Jim Haslett.
-Hopefully make impressive moves in free agency and offseason and we’ll be in business!

Who believes the same?!

    Hi Skins Fans,

    Once upon a time, I lived in Los Angeles, and I stumbled upon Joxer Daly’s, a Redskins bar in Culver City (a section of L.A.). At the time, it was a much needed slice of home, and it remains perhaps the best place I’ve ever been to watch a Redskins game. Every Sunday, anywhere from 50 to 100 jersey-clad Skins fans pack the place and sing the fight song after every touchdown. Not only that, but games in L.A. start at 10am, so you roll out of bed, throw on your jersey, and head for wings and beer for breakfast.

    I’m thinking it would be a fun trip to gather some fans from the D.C. area and head west to watch a game there this fall.

    Assuming this season happens. Let me know if you’d be interested, and we’ll see what we can plan.

    You’re missing the point, Steve-O. This thread is intended to help us plan a trip out west so we CAN catch a game there.

    I know it’ll take some coordinating and a good, cheap airfare, but I think it can be done.

    That said…who’s game?

    I actually wanted to use Fanspeak to try to plan a trip to a Redskins away game! I have a bunch of Redskins fans interested, but someone just needs to organize!

    Like Steve said, this year may be tough…but if I can do I would love to plan an away game trip with a bunch of Redskins fans to the Seattle game! If not this year, we start it for the 2012 season for sure!!

    One road trip/away game per season would be a fun tradition for us Redskins fans right? Plus, I like the idea of seeing a bunch of cities I’ve never been to. I would like to go to Jerry Jones new stadium & Dallas soon too! What do you Redskins fans think?
