First of all I want to thank the guys who made this website. This is awesome!! I always wanted to write about the draft and find out what other people thought my projections and other topics!!!! (well other than my dog and 1 year old son) Every weekday I’m going to get on here and do a team by team projection.
First up is the number 1 pick, Indianapolis Colts

First of all I really can’t see the Colts forking over the 28 million to Peyton Manning, and the way this team just quit because he wasn’t there. I could see alot of other guys being moved.
Indianapolis has one pick in every round, and I truely believe in rebuilding from the inside out. Which is a good thing because there offensive line isn’t the greatest to begin with. So here we go.
Not going to write up any comments this time, but I will have a comment with a full 7 round mock draft when compensatory picks are announced and all college juniors have declared.

very nice mock for the Colts, while I’d prefer to build up the lines, unless they resign Wayne and Garcon I’ll be shocked if they don’t take a WR in the 2nd or 3rd round.

All season I’ve been saying that the taking Luck was just a smokescreen and IF Manning would be healthy enough, they’d pay him and try to get a ransom for #1 pick. But the more time that goes on, you wonder if Manning will really be healthy and even if he gets the go ahead, for how long? Then they fire the GM and the owner says they’re taking Luck…and it seemed a lot more convincing then. So I think they’ll have their next generation Manning in Luck and rebuild from there.

Thanks guys. Steve, I agree with you on the wr thing, but i just dont see Wayne going anywhere else. I wish I would have game them a DE though. I don’t see Robert Mathis coming back. That defense had no heart what so ever this year.

I hear WIsconsin Badger OC Peter Konz from Neenah, WI 5 minutes from my hometown. What are your thoughts on this guy. I think he is going to be a great piece. Can play gaurd or center, and he pulls with the best of them

@Dan…yeah i agree I think Mathis won’t be back and Anderson is a FA as well. Colts also need to prioritize some CB’s (I love Steed, but they should probably grab a more impact type guy). It will be interesting to see what they do in FA, esp if they let Manning walk and free up all that money.

I love Konz and think he’s going to be an absolute stud. He reminds me of Mangold some.
