The Caps took a very bad loss at home last night against the Rangers and now travel to play the Islanders in New York tonight. What team will show up is anybodies guess at this point! The NHL Trade Deadline is quickly approaching and this team needs a spark because they are looking like a one and done team come playoff time!

I agree, there just doesn’t seem to be any fire or urgency with them. When they want to play they can beat anyone, but I think they will get killed in series hockey. A single game is fine, but no way they can get 4 wins.

I agree with you on that, it’s puzzling to see what has happened to them over the course of this season. They have been shutout 9 of their last 41 games. I’m sure they will be making a move or 2 before the trade deadline rolls around. What do you think is wrong with them and do you think Boudreau has lost the team?

I keep wondering if Boudreau will be fired. But we’re getting kinda close to playoffs now!
Wonder what moves we’ll make!

I thought Boudreau was totally safe, but I’m not so sure he is anymore. I think he has the rest of this season and the NHL Playoffs to save his job. I would be shocked if they made a move so close to the playoffs. If the little guy in Ashburn was running the show then all bets would be off and anything could happen, but Ted Leonsis would shock me if he fired him right now.
