PWHC is working towards a $2500 grant from Liberty Mutual through its Responsible Sports Program. This program is endorsed by USA Hockey. It ends NOV 30th and it only takes a few minutes to complete.
Hello PWHC Supporters,
It is really simple to help us work towards the grant. It’s a simple two-step process:
1) Go to http://www.ResponsibleSports.com/Grant, review the Responsible Coaching/Sports Parenting Materials and take a “self-correcting” 10 question quiz on Sports Parenting and/or Coaching.
2) Credit “Prince William Hockey Club” (in Woodbridge, VA).
In our group (large organizations), the top 7 teams with the most participation will win the $2500. We really do have a chance…. but we need EACH parent and Coach to participate. Please take a moment to help out. Also, before you ask, yes… others can absolutely participate with us — so it would be fine to ask friends and relatives to “take the quiz” too. The more people we get to review the course and quiz, the better our chances.
We worked together to build an ice rink — we can surely do this if we give it a try. Just think of the ways this grant could help us: equipment, ice time, benches/chairs, more flooring, stick racks… the list goes on and on.
