Week 8 DFS Value Plays

Daily Fantasy Fantasy Football

1- Jameis Winston– Tampa Bay QB- $5700

Winston on the field has yet to show he is ready to take the next step in his young career but this week he gets a gift.  The Raiders are coming to town and after spending the week away from home they are due to give up some points.  And with Mike Evans on the field for Winston matching up against a weak Raiders secondary it should be a show.

2- Devontae Booker- Denver RB- $3700

Once we got news that CJ Anderson is now out for maybe the season Booker’s stock rose big time.  And he gets San Diego in his first start.  And Booker had already been starting to eat into Anderson’s time due to his impressive play.  Time to get Booker at this low price because as the weeks go on it won’t stay.

3- Chris Thompson- Washington RB- $3700

Another guy benefiting from an injury is Thompson who won’t be the starter for DC Sunday but should get plenty of chances.  Thompson I think the coaches have more confidence in than rookie Rob Kelley who will actually start.  Both guys could be solid plays but I just think Thompson catching balls will be a better play of as now.

4- Michael Floyd– Arizona WR- $4100

Floyd continues to be a huge question mark with the Cards.  Just when you think he is ready to become a bigger time guy he goes into a funk.  But this week he should have his chance to do something.  The Panthers have struggled and Floyd is coming off a decent game versus the Legion of Boom.

5- Gary Barnidge- Cleveland TE- $3300

Death, taxes and McCown to Barnidge.  Well, maybe not so much but Barnidge does seem to find a groove with McCown under center.  Barnidge has been more consistent than you would think and the Jets stink.   Let’s not forget that.
