Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 11
If there is a chance he could play this season, wouldn’t you want him on your team?
Whether or not Adrian Peterson will return this season has yet to be decided. However, that decision will come very soon. Whether or not he is allowed back in the league should not matter to fantasy owners at this point. More than likely he will not be suiting up with the Vikings in week 11. However, if he is available he is definitely worth adding to your roster in hopes he could return this season. More than likely, there is a player on your roster who you will never play and could easily be replaced by one of the greatest running backs the game has ever seen. Peterson’s risk is totally worth the possible reward.
Mychal Rivera was on this list last week, but for some reason nobody listened. He is still owned in less than five percent of fantasy leagues. He scored a touchdown for the third game in a row. The Oakland Raiders are definitely giving him looks in the red zone. His yardage total leaves something to be wary about, but if you play in a league that rewards a ton of points for touchdowns, this is your guy.
With all the injuries on the Bills’ offense, Robert Woods has a great chance to shine.
With Sammy Watkins banged up, the Bills are being forced to spread the ball around bit more than they have been recently. Robert Woods is the definite number one wide receiver when Watkins is on the sidelines. Even when Watkins is available, Woods is still the team’s number two. Kyle Orton has been playing well lately and the team’s running game is struggling due to injuries. The Bills only true option is to throw. That being their only option makes Woods a good option for fantasy owners.
Allen Robinson is still owed in less than three percent of fantasy leagues. The only reason this could possibly be is because he is on the Jacksonville Jaguars. The rookie has over 500 receiving yards this season and has caught at least four passes in every game except one. He actually had ten balls thrown to him last weekend against the Dallas Cowboys. Robinson needs to start getting some respect from fantasy owners. He should be at the top of every PPR player’s waiver wire list this week.
Bryce Brown may not be sending anyone to the playoffs this season, but he showed this past weekend he can do well enough to earn a spot on a fantasy roster. The Bills’ running only carried the ball seven times for 35 yards, but he did catch six of seven passes for 65 yards and a touchdown. In comparison, Anthony Dixon only took nine carries throughout the game. Fred Jackson did return from his groin injury, but he was limited in his use. This will likely be the same scenario heading into week 11. More than likely Jackson will be featured on first and second downs, but we could see a good amount of Brown in passing situations. He seems like a player who could add a little depth to fantasy rosters, especially in PPR leagues.
